Meet Lisa Camerlengo,
Medium Brand Consulting's Founder
Former In-House Marketing Executive, Rebranding Guru, and Communications Expert
With more than 20 years of marketing strategy, communications, and digital media experience, Lisa is Medium Brand Consulting's founder and lead strategist. Prior to founding Medium Brand Consulting, Lisa was VP of Marketing for a global advisory firm, where she implemented award-winning marketing efforts to support brand-building and business development initiatives. Lisa led this firm through a brand transformation built upon client research, which included a revised narrative and refresh of its brand image. The campaign, along with a commemorative celebration of its 15th Anniversary, were recognized as “Best B2B Campaign” and “Campaign of the Year” by DMN in 2020.
Lisa is well-versed in the challenges of growth; establishing and leading a marketing function; developing integrated marketing strategies; and assembling world-class marketing teams. She has also launched or helped to launch several brands in addition to Medium Brand Consulting: a personal baking blog, The Rescue Baker; a New York City-based family real estate business; and several other professional services start-ups.
Over the course of her career, Lisa has created and implemented integrated “brand journalism” communications strategies to reach targeted audiences across industry sectors, including professional services (consulting and legal), alternative investments / financial services, and real estate. As a freelance writer, she has published articles on topics in media and entertainment, general business, health and fitness, food, and women’s issues.
Lisa is an alumna of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. She began her career as a multimedia journalist with The Deal, recording daily DealCast podcasts and writing the Movers & Shakers column.
